1955-58c. The O.A. Sutton Corporation, Wichita,KS., U.S.A., Vornado Turnabout Table Fan
The second generation Vornado Turnabout Table Fan continued the Space Age design, while adding a larger table surface and increasing the height. The inlay of the table features a hip one piece tiled fiberglass surface that allows easy clean up with a damp cloth. While the cool styling abounds, this atomic age fan moves air like its rocket powered.
The exclusive Vornado ducted design allows all of the air from the blade vortex to funnel out the front. When used in the upright position, the vortex is directed by a cone to push out around the edge of table.
The Vornado Turnabout table fan is functional piece of furniture and it is especially suited to an enclosed porch or interior space that represents the 40s, 50s, or early 60s design.
The fan featured in this gallery was restored in a creme white standard finish .
